We work with Primus Labs to make sure our produce is safe to eat. We are Primus Food safety Certified with a score of 97%.
Verité:
We participate in audits by Verité—an independent, third-party social auditor—to ensure we are maintaining fair labor practices on our farms.
Pennsylvania Certified Organic:
Our produce is certified organic by Pennsylvania Certified Organic.
Lady Moon Farms Owner Tom Beddard was the founding president for Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO). Tom wanted PA growers to have a certifier with local roots and a name that reflects place. Also, Tom felt it important for certification to be reasonably priced and user friendly, everything that PCO stands for today!
Central PA Food Bank:
We have donated 750,000lbs of food 2 summers in a row to the Central PA Food Bank.
Harry Chapin Food Bank:
We donate food from our Florida farms to the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
