Why Organic?
The fact that you're on our site may mean you already know the important answer. If you don't here's why: Traditional non-organic farming relies on chemicals that are hazardous to workers, the soil and ultimately those who handle and consume the foods produced using them. These chemicals deplete otherwise healthy, living soil while organic farming builds the soil by working to understand what it needs and then providing it using organic products, not products derived from petroleum.
Most of us know someone affected by disease and if we assume the moniker "you are what you eat" is true, is it wise to consume produce treated with artificial chemicals meant to kill living things? Be kind to yourself, be kind to the planet, be kind to your farmer and may you live a long and fulfilling life!
